The Position

The Manager – Knowledge, Research and Insights has responsibility for the ADF capability around knowledge, information, research and evaluation, and the creation and translation of the insights these provide for the organisation. This role leads a multi-disciplinary team who researches, synthesises and evaluates internal & external information, including qualitative, quantitative (primary and secondary research), into content and insights for the organisation, this includes all ADF programs, end users and internal ADF needs.

The role will also have a focus on the longer term strategic provision of information in the ADF and the wider AOD sector, with a focus on the service delivery approach for Information provision and knowledge sharing.

You will have extensive experience in the development and delivery of Knowledge, Research and Insights strategies - across analytical and quantitative through to qualitative and conceptual. You will have experience as a Senior Leader in an organisation, with experience and understanding of research and evaluation methodologies, incorporating evidence and data driven insights into content for programs.

• Experience of successfully leading a multi-disciplinary team including Subject Matter Experts.

• Experience in the development and roll-out of information services

• Extensive experience in the development and implementation of research strategy

• Project management experience for a large scale public health or related initiative
